Dov Bergwerk was appointed in October 2023 to join Teva’s Executive Management and lead the Global Legal group as Acting Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary.
Dov joined Teva over twenty years ago as the first US-trained corporate lawyer based in Israel. He initially led the Company’s legal support for global business development and supported our Finance team and CFO. He is an expert in business combinations, corporate governance, US securities law and shareholder litigation. In recent years, Dov has led the Legal Department’s Corporate Group and serves as Corporate Secretary and advisor to Teva’s Board of Directors.
Dov began his career in the global corporate group of Weil Gotshal & Manges based in New York City and later joined Tel Aviv law firm Goldfarb Levy in Israel.
He graduated from Columbia University and Fordham Law School.
