Life Effects: Support is Here for People Who've Been There

Living with a chronic condition?

A young woman in a stripy t-shirt and dress sits on a park bench, holding her head as if she has a headache.
The woman looks at her phone, showing the Life Effects website.

Life Effects is here to help.

It’s an online hub where people like you share real stories, tips, and advice on living a fuller life with chronic conditions.

Another young woman faces the camera, loosens her hair, and massages her scalp.
A man with a Jack Russell dog looks into the camera. Next, the man practices yoga with his dog beside him.
The man and dog are in a video being watched by another man on his phone.
The second man glances at his own dog. He’s then seen upside down in a yoga position. The dog licks the second man's face, making him laugh.

Living with one or more chronic conditions affects your life in so many ways. The only people who really know what you are going through are those who have faced the same challenges for years.

With this in mind we created Life Effects, an initiative shaped by patients for patients. We’ll share stories about the reality of living with chronic conditions – and recognize the vital role of caregivers as they navigate the joys and demands of caregiving. We talk about what it's like with people who have actually been there. Together, we explore the latest science and thinking around your condition, and we hope you’ll find the contributors’ lived experiences, feelings and perspectives to be relevant and insightful.
