Dan took on a caring role at just 18 years old, quickly transitioning from part-time to full-time caregiving. Almost two decades later, Dan provides round-the-clock care for two of his family members, both with very different needs.
"There have been bumps along the way," he says, "but the experience has shaped and strengthened our relationships."
He hopes these stories will help new and seasoned caregivers - particularly those who had to juggle responsibilities at a young age.
