Associate Director, Global Marketing

Position Summary

You will be in charge of effectively developing and delivering all the stages and elements of our product marketing strategies, programs and tactics to cost-effectively achieve maximum impact in different markets.

Responsibilities

  • Planning a successful global product launch that conveys the organization’s strengths.
  • Implementing the company’s global strategy and brand objectives, by ensuring consistent global expression of the brand while adapting it to specific markets, cultures and customer groups.
  • Facilitating effective allocation and deployment of global commercial resources to ensure a timely and successful product launch with a clear call for action.
  • Evaluating brand performance against budget on an on-going basis in order to review resource needs, and to flexibly prioritize and deploy allocated resources in response to developments.
  • Leading the execution of the core global marketing areas of commercial projects/products, including product branding, agency coordination, PR, market access and penetration, reimbursement, pricing, market analytics, market research.
  • Communicating and interacting with our global commercial regions to ensure alignment on key brand objectives.
  • Optimizing synergies and avoiding redundancies across the global organization and matrix team. Proactively identifying and sharing best practices.
  •  Dialoguing professionally with all vendors/agencies to ensure the achievement of specified goals, including highest quality implementation and adherence to timelines and budgets.

Position Requirements:

  • You have a successful track record in branded product marketing with at least 5 years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in or related to the pharma industry.
  • BA/BS degree, with MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Degree in scientific studies an advantage.
  • Prior global product launch experience an advantage.
  • A proven record of analytical and organizational skills, reflected in project planning/execution.
  • Experience in leading a multi-functional team within an indirect reporting structure.
  • Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills that motivate people to strive for excellence in every assignment and project.
  • Vendor/agency management skills.
