Chile supports Laboratorio Chile which promotes activities to support sick children, contributing to various initiatives to improve their treatment and support programs.

Teva Bosnia and Herzegovina makes a local contribution by equipping a classroom in the University Clinical Center in Tuzla, supporting young musicians with for an educational trip abroad, helping build a Memorial Gallery for victims of Srebrenica genocide and supporting an association of mountaineers and young artists.

Cooperation with the local chemistry specialized secondary schools and well-known universities of Hungary, promoting chemistry and science subjects among students and pupils.

"Dedicated to Health"

As far as PLIVA’s community actions are concerned, Croatians are most familiar with its public health actions, which are organized under the “Dedicated to Health” slogan every year in the four biggest cities in Croatia - Zagreb, Split, Rijeka and Osijek. Their primary purpose is to inform people about cardiovascular risks. 
Every year the actions begin in April, on World Health Day, and they are carried out under the auspices of the Croatian Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

 

Placido Domingo concert: The Voice for Health

“The Voice for Health”, a project, organized within a gala concert by Placido Domingo, was also one of the events organized on the occasion of PLIVA’s 90th anniversary. The organizers donated a part of the funds raised by each ticket sold to a charitable cause, and PLIVA, as a partner in this project, doubled this amount. The cheque for half a million kuna was donated to the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Division of Phoniatrics, for scientific and professional improvements and for the further advancement of diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation procedures."
