Teva Respiratory and Allergy and Asthma Foundation of America (AAFA) Urges People to Get Smart About Asthma!

In 2013, Teva Respiratory launched a campaign called “Get Smart About Asthma” in partnership with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA). This educational program serves as a comprehensive resource intended to assist the 25 million Americans currently living with asthma to better understand, manage and control their condition.

In addition to educational tools and resources for asthma patients and caregivers, GetSmartAboutAsthma.com was recently updated to include multimedia assets such as informative videos featuring asthma experts and the latest in asthma news, all on a newly designed platform for both desktop and mobile devices. The site, approved for U.S. residents, offers information about controlling asthma symptoms resulting from inflammation in both the large and small airways of the lungs, and discussion guides to help people living with asthma improve communication with their healthcare providers.
