PGT Healthcare, the joint venture between Teva and Procter & Gamble, won the 2012 Eagle Star Gala Deal of the Year Award at the 11th annual event of its kind, which took place on June 12. The Eagle Star Gala is the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce’s (AICC) event to honor the individuals and companies who contribute most to investment and trade
in the southeast region of Israel.
The deal of the year award was given to Procter & Gamble and Israel's Teva Pharmaceutical Industries for the deal that resulted in the establishment of the North Carolina-based PGT Healthcare, which sells OTC drugs. Ken Jones from P&G’s North American Healthcare finance department represented both companies at the event.
AICC is a leading bi-national trade organization that works with Israeli companies seeking entry into the U.S. market, and with American companies wishing to do business in Israel.
